Oh my god! Friday’s class gathering is super duper fun!!! I met yushan and sijia on the train to bedok…so qiao right? Anyway the interesting part is later. And Iris seah short legs has super short legs that make her late for 10 mins…
Arrive at ECP: we were playing volleyball, but most of us totally suck at it so we change it to captains ball. I and iris were the captains. Haha, later jonathan reached and I tried his bike and for the first time of my life I could peddle a bit. But still can’t go on. Everyone rented a bike except me and my angel ziying, we choose to roller-blade instead. But somehow my blading skills are not as good as I have imagined it to be…so we met with this slope. My angel went down before me and I saw her banging (CRASH) onto iris’s bike and she fell hard. Now’s my turn, I simply can’t withstand the speed I wanted to grab hold of something. So I saw this bar and thinking I would be safe by grabbing it, but it turns out that I bang onto it hard on my legs…(a bar is not a pole, a pole is not a bar, I only hit on the legs, it’s not what you imagine it to be like hitting directly on my face) lol. But the slope continuous, luckily tjun sern is there to help so that I did not fall like ziying. Sobs, now there is a big greenish bump on my legs…
I ended up returning the skates in an hour. Ziying left us halfway and I was on my own to WALK all the way from the bike shop to 7-eleven. It’s such a long way, I feel like I’m a !Kung Bushman now, walking such long distance. So in the end I manage to see them, but thery continue to ride and left me behind, and sijia even make me carry her big heavy yellow bag….cry. fortunately, Shu lin and jonathan stayed back and walk with me.
How I learned to ride a bike:
So as I was saying, I was walking with shulin and jonathan. I asked shulin if he could lend me his bike so that I can learn. So there was I on the bike, he pushed the bike and ask me to continue peddling, then when the speed is fast enough, he let go of the bike and haha, I was on my own!!!! I can finally ride a bike. Shulin was so nice to carry sijia and my bag so that I could continue riding (he continue to walk all the way until the bike shop)…of course I rode slowly so as to wait for them. And now Shulin is my shi fu, I own him a big favor man! hehe, I was singing Doh Re Mi while I was cycling but somehow I would lose my balance.
I bang into Jonathan and clara a few times when I was cycling. Sorry about that guys! I am still quite wobbly with the bike. So after they return the bikes, I used jonathan’s so called mountain bike.
After that:
It’s beach time! We all went to the beach to soak our feet in the cool seawater. Too bad the guys are wearing shoes not slippers.
Iris and I went back early. So sad….

yesterday evening, i went to watch this Fantasies and Confessions concert at Esplanade Concert Hall. The music that SSO played revolves around this theme. SSO played:
1. Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis by Ralph Vaughan Williams
2. Piano Concerto No.1 in C minor by Shostakovich
3. Night on a Bald Mountain by Mussorgsky
4. The confession of Isobel Gowdie by Macmillan

My favourite is the first piece. It's a chamber work and is very lyrical and solemn piece. i totally love the part where the solo violin, viola and cello played. just go hear it urself...
the cutest piece would be the number 2. the piece is writen to describe a scene in the russian circus. the whole orchestra is imitating the sound, so funny.
the worst piece of the night would be the last piece. it totally sucked. there's no ture to it and it just irritates me. boring
the encore is Greensleeves. yah clap!!! something that i like.
